Rome-based visual artist Alice Pasquini recently completed an extensive mural project which celebrates the life and work of Italian poet Alfonso Gatto. Pasquini was commissioned by the Fondazione Alfonso Gatto to create the work in the city of Salerno, where the poet was born.

Switzerland-based photographer John Wilhelm uses photography as a way to express his wild imagination. Rather than simply capturing what's out in the wild and presenting his in-camera shots, he takes his time shooting various animals and landscapes and proceeds to merge them in creative ways. He heightens each photograph by allowing them to sync in with one another, producing some truly surreal images.

Cecilia Paredes was born in Lima, Peru, and works between Lima and Philadelphia. Her studies of Fine Arts were at the Catholic University of Lima and Cambridge Arts in the UK. Paredes represented Costa Rica, she lived there for many years, at the 51st Venice Biennial in 2005 and she was the recipient of the Bellagio Residency from the Rockefeller Foundation in 1998.
